Little Tykes Sports at the Fremont Family YMCA is returning this Spring for a beginner's dive into Football and Volleyball! Little Tykes is designed to introduce sports to the ages 3-5 by teaching them the fundamental skills of the sports played that season. This is a perfect opportunity to discover what sports kids love and want to continue in the future, as well as teach sportsmanship, teamwork, and independence.

Calendar: March 18th - April 29th (with a week off for Easter)

• Volleyball Section: Mar 18, 25 & Apr 1
• Football Section: Apr 8, 22, 29

Fremont Family YMCA is excited to host our first Little Kickers Futsal program! Little Kickers is perfect for youth ages 5-10 to learn the basics of soccer in an indoor setting perfect for winter activities.

Have siblings that are both soccer lovers? Little Kickers Futsal is split into two sections, ages 5-7 and 8-10, which will occur from 5:30pm - 7:30 pm.

• Ages 5-7 will focus on passing, dribbling, and defensive/offensive understandings.
• Ages 8-10 will still be an introductory course covering basics, but will additionally focus on the rules of the game to prepare them for recreational/competitive play.

Little Kickers Futsal will be held on Tuesdays, 5-7 year old 5:30pm - 6:30pm, 8-10 year old 6:30pm - 7:30pm in our Sidner Gym. Session will go from Jan 14-Feb 18.

Fremont Family YMCA's NFL Youth Flag Football program is a parent coach, all participant play program designed to help kids develop the necessary skills and understanding of Flag Football in a safe and fun environment. The six week program will include 6 games, up to 6 practices, a team photo, medal, flags, and an NFL Team Jersey. Mouth guards are suggested to play.

• Games and practices held at Clarmar Elementary.
• Games will consist of 5v5 and approxmately 7-10 players per team.
• Coaches will coordinate with parents a time and location to practice once per week.
• Certain rules may be altered depending on coach's preference and the ages played.

Age Range: Boys & Girls Grades Pre-K - 8th grade (must be at least 5 years old by first game)

Pricing:

• Early Bird Pricing: Member $70 | Non-member $100 ($10 Discount)
• Regular Pricing: Member $80 | Non-member $110
• Late Registration Pricing: Member $95 | Non-member $115  ($15 Late Fee)

Games/Practices:

• Practice: Clarmar fields or location better for team (after 5:00 pm Monday-Friday if at Clarmar)
• Games: Saturdays (morning/afternoon) Start at 10:00 am end TBD on teams
• Volunteering: Coaches and officials are needed to make this program successful. If you would like to volunteer for either role indicate it on your registration.

Bergan Volleyball Team will host a Clinic to prepare prospective players for the Spring Youth Volleyball session. Hone your skills to bump, set, and spike with high-school level players in our 1hr clinics for first-time players and those prepping for the season!

3v3 Recreational Basketball is a relaxed 3-on-3 league designed to emphasize player growth and development. Over a five-week season, teams play five games under the guidance of volunteer coaches. Teams are organized by school and grade level, with adjusted rules for younger players.

This league features a five-week regular season. The league is for ages 5 years old to 12 years old. If your child is within the ages of 5-8 years old you will play two 15 minute halves. If you are 9&up you will play 30 minutes running clock.

Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this hands-on course will teach you everything you need to know— from creating compelling content to recording and editing high-quality episodes.

This class will guide you through the process of creating a podcast, from concept to launch. You’ll learn how to develop riveting content, choose the right equipment, record high-quality audio, edit your episodes, and publish your podcast on popular platforms. Additionally, we'll cover tips on growing your audience, engaging with listeners, and monetizing your show.

The class will be taught by Kelby Bachman, a graduate of the College of Journalism at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln who double-majored in Sports Media and Communication and Broadcasting. With over 4 years of podcasting experience, Kelby has interviewed Olympic medalists, national champion coaches and athletes along with an ESPN Associate Producer and Big Ten commentators.

Tech Tuesday at the Fremont Family YMCA is a 6-week program where kids 9+ are able to exercise their tech skills and learn the start-to-finish process of creating something new! This Winter Session will be focused on Podcast Production, from first concepts to final products!

Red Ball & Orange Ball take place simultaneously on two adjacent courts, perfect for younger and older siblings to share lesson times while parents utilize our Wellness Center or join in our drop-in adult sport times. Midland Tennis players teach lessons, and are also available for private lessons upon inquiry.

• Red Ball: Ages 3-5 (30min)
• Orange Ball: Ages 6-10 (1hr)

Fremont Family YMCA welcomes all Pickleball Players and Enthusiasts to join us in our 2025 Adult Pickleball League! This is a recreational, 6-week mixed doubles league with a post-session tournament. 

Team Registration: $70/team - Have a team of 2-4 players and looking for a little extra competition? Sign up together at our discounted rate! 

Single Registration: $35/player - Don't have a team but still want to play? We'll add you to our roster and help you meet new teammates at similar skill levels!

Want to get a little more practice in before you decide? FFY hosts Drop-In Pickleball for members Mon-Fri mornings from 8:30-10:30am and Mon/Thurs evenings from 6:00-8:00pm. Come and learn in an encouraging environment with our regular members! $5 day pass fee for non-members.

Schedules: League schedule will be sent out in the week leading up to the first match. Matches will be determined by skill levels entered at registration.
