In Private Swim Lessons you will find:

• That a swimmer will proceed at their own pace. When more time is needed, more time will be given.  If a swimmer moves more quickly take advantage of this!  Group lessons can at times hold a swimmer back.
• A swimmer will have the full attention of the instructor for the entire lesson time.  At times, when a swimmer is ready, they will proceed more rapidly because of the individualization,  additional practice and repetitions during each lesson.
• An anxious swimmer can relax more due to one on one attention.  An easily distracted swimmer can focus more if they are easily distracted in a group setting.
• Private lessons have more flexibility if schedules are less predictable.

Children of all ages love swimming and we'd love to help them learn to swim and/or improve their technique.

Semi-Private Lessons are with 2 swimmers and 1 instructor at the same time. $225 for 5 thirty-minute lessons. (FFYMCA members)

Fremont Family YMCA is excited to host our first Little Kickers Futsal program! Little Kickers is perfect for youth ages 3-8 to learn the basics of soccer in an indoor setting perfect for winter activities.

Have siblings that are both soccer lovers? Little Kickers Futsal is split into two sections, ages 3-5 and 6-8, which will occur simultaneously.

• Ages 3-5 (for Little Tykes!) will focus on passing, dribbling, and defensive/offensive understandings.
• Ages 6-8 will still be an introductory course covering basics, but will additionally focus on the rules of the game to prepare them for recreational/competitive play.

Little Kickers Futsal will be held on Thursdays, 6:00-7:00pm in our Sidner Gym. Session will go from Jan 9-Feb 13.

Want to get some practice in before committing? FFY Sports & Programs is hosting free 1-hour Soccer Clinics on Sunday, Dec 8 for ages 5-10 and 11-14. See our Youth Sports page to sign up!

Fremont Family YMCA welcomes new and actively-learning soccer players to join our Youth Futsal League for ages 8-14!

Futsal is an increasingly popular variation of soccer with slightly different rules – and played on hard surfaces like basketball courts, making it a perfect indoor activity for winter months! This sport is designed to increase touches on the ball during play, creating more opportunity to sharpen footwork, exercise rotating positions, and improve decision-making skills.

This league will follow the same structure as other FFY leagues you love like Youth Flag Football, Volleyball, and Basketball:

• 6-week program, games on Saturday morning-afternoon from Jan 11-Feb 15
• Teams of 7-10 players, games feature 6v6 play
• Coached by volunteer parents (training manuals, guides, and additional resources provided by Sports & Programs staff)
• No-cost practice times at FFY Courts, Monday-Thursday as available
• Indoor soccer shoes/tennis shoes are welcome, shin guards recommended
• Game jersey, medal, and pictures all included in registration price!

Early Bird Registration: Nov 12 – Dec 3

Regular Registration: Dec 4 – Dec 20
