Fremont Family YMCA’s Adult Flag Football League is perfect for adults looking to engage in recreational or competitive sports, make friends, and enjoy the thrill of football without the physical risks of full contact.

Session: April 6 – May 18 (April 20 off for Easter weekend)

League Dates: League begins Sunday, April 6th and will run 6 weeks with 5 weeks of regular play and last week being a single elimination tournament. Will officially end Sunday, May 18th. If games are postponed due to weather, they will be rescheduled for the following week.
League Format: All games are 5-on-5. Field is 60 x 30 yds. Two 20 minute halves will be played with a running clock. Each team will have two timeouts per half. Game flags, cones for the fields, and game balls will be provided. Refs will be YMCA staff members and have final say on any penalties. What the ref says, goes! If problems with players occur, refs have discretion to kick player off the field.
Basic Rules: No tackling, rough play or any other tactics will be tolerated (15-yard penalty). Only screen blocks will be allowed. All players are eligible to receive a forward pass. 3 players must be on the line of scrimmage. Captains are responsible for teammates’ knowledge and understanding the rules of the game. Fighting in any manner will result in immediate ejection of the league – no exceptions!
