Get ready to push your limits at YROX, the ultimate test of endurance, strength, and grit. Inspired by the intensity of Hyrox-style racing, this high-energy competition combines running with functional fitness challenges to create a nonstop, full-body experience.
Taking place on June 6th at 9:00 a.m. in the Turf Room and surrounding outdoor space, YROX is designed to challenge athletes of all levels (ages 14+) with a demanding and rewarding course.
Race Structure:
- ½ mile run
- 100 box jumps – 16 inches for women, 20 inches for men
- ½ mile run
- ½ mile of rowing on the rowing machine
- ½ mile run
- 100 medicine ball slams – 8 pounds for women, 10 pounds for men
- ½ mile run
- 4 laps of sandbag lunges – 22 pounds for women, 44 pounds for men
- ½ mile run
- 4 laps of burpee broad jumps
- ½ mile run
- 4 laps of plate pushes on the turf – 45 pound plate
- ½ mile run
- 4 laps of farmer carry – 35 pounds for women, 50 pounds for men
- ½ mile run
- 100 wall balls – 8 pounds for women, 10 pounds for men
- Finish
Each lap = 25 yard, so 4 laps would be 100 yards
Participants can compete individually or as a team, with divisions for age groups and teams. Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in each category.
