Step onto the court with the official youth basketball program of the NBA & WNBA! Young players develop fundamental basketball skills and game knowledge while experiencing the excitement of being part of a Pro NBA or WNBA team!
Fremont Family YMCA's Jr. NBA Youth Basketball League is a parent coach, all participants play program designed to help kids develop the necessary skills and understanding of Basketball in a safe and fun environment. The six-week program will include 6 Saturday games, up to 6 practices, a team photo, medal, and a Jr. NBA Team Jersey.
Dates: November 1 - December 13 (Saturday mornings/afternoons)
Age Range: Boys & Girls | Grades K – 6th (Ages 5 to 12)
Registration: Early Bird – August 13-September 17 | Regular Registration – September 18-October 15
Pricing:
- Early Bird Pricing: Member $50 | Non-member $70 ($10 Discount - Ends September 17)
- Regular Pricing: Member $60 | Non-member $80
- Late Registration Pricing: Member $75 | Non-member $95 ($15 Late Fee)
Game/Practice Details:
- League Games will be held Saturday mornings/afternoons - Start: early as 8am | End: late as 2pm
- Games will consist of 5v5 play and approximately 6-8 players per team
- Coaches will coordinate with parents a time and location to practice once per week
- Certain rules may be altered depending on coach's preference and ages played
- Volunteering: Coaches and officials are needed to make this program successful. If you would like to volunteer for either role, please indicate it on your registration.
